Founded in 2012 by Charles Dodge and Frank Renn, better known as Master Waldryk, Phoenix Steel uses only the best materials in the creation of our products. We take each job personally and strive to produce the best for our customers. Each piece is custom made to our customer's specifications and becomes it's own unique work of art. This means a better quality of workmanship for our customers, especially our fighters in the SCA! So if you are just looking for a fantasy piece, or something more funcational, you've come to the right place. We take pride in ensuring a historically accurate piece that has all the modern comforts of fit and functionality.

The goal of the Phoenix Steel Armory is to make the finest armour available for participants of Medieval Renactments.

For most custom orders, Phoenix Steel does not take any money up front. All Full Suit Orders will require a 25% Non-Refundable Material Deposit.

All armour is made from 304 Stainless Steel. All armour is made SCA standards, unless otherwise specified or requested. All helms have a 14 guage finished top as standard, 12 guage is available upon request. All other armour is 16-18 guage. All stainless steel armour is guaranteed for life for the original owner! If you break, mutilate or destroy your armour in SCA combat, then we will fix or replace the damaged piece at our discretion FOR LIFE! (At our discretion means that we have the right to refuse to repair or replace your armour if it looks like you backed your truck over it, beat it with a ball peen hammer or something else equally untoward and unrelated to SCA combat. Carbon steel armour may not be covered by this guarantee.
